Hello,
I recently put KPhone/Pi 1.0.0 on my SL-5600 with theKompany ROM. I've set up my SIPphone "identity" so that it registers successfully, and incoming calls (by dialing my SIPphone-provided "virtual number" with a PSTN phone) come through wonderfully.
Unfortunately, I'm completely unable to call out to PSTN numbers. I receive an error saying "Unauthorized." Has anyone else had this problem?
Meanwhile, are there other VoIP softphones available for the Zaurus that people here have successfully gotten to call out to PSTN numbers? The only other one that I know of in tkcPhone, but I haven't been able to download it as theKompany.com has a dead link on their website. It would be appreciated if someone would be able to provide a working link or even send me a copy.

Yes, I have seen this problem as well. Not sure what they are doing with there call server, but it doesn't like calls from Kphone (Stanaphone gives the same error).
I have successfully used FreeWorldDialup (www.freeworlddialup.com) to make 1-800 PSTN calls from my Z, and I have used FWD to make Sip to Sip calls. But no luck with the commercial providers (although I hear it is possible with Vonage). Look elsewhere on this forum (using search) for VOIP, there are quite a few folks already playing with it, and have given good info.
I hope this helps,
Craig...

Craig,
Are you using a SL-6000? I get some console errors when initiating test calls with KPhone + FWD. I don't know if the problem is specific to SL-6000 since no one else seems to have it. Would you be able to send me your configuration tab parameters from KPhone?
Thanks,
Doug
