Title: 3100 Wish List
Post by: Traps on August 13, 2005, 01:07:20 pm
Hi All,

In my job I have to support both Mac and PC networks. The majority of my clients have a Sonicwall or Cisco PIX with radius setup. I would like to be able to vpn into my clients network and use remote desktop and VNC to access the servers. I have tried vpnc and qtrdesktop with no success. I 'd also like to able to browse smb and appletalk networks. I would be interested to hear from anybody
who has used a Z as a support tool.

I have used fbvnc with alot of success, you can grab it from www.pocketworkstation.org, rdesktop is in the ipkg feed for pdaxrom and it works well for windows boxes. If your comfortable with the command line then smbclient and smbfs to manually mount shares should work for the samba.
