I'm playing with pdaxrom on my wife's future c700 (I have a c860 with the sharp ROM).
I'd love to switch fully to X but my second biggest use (besides the awesome Kopi pim) is toggling the SD card between my digital camera and Z which is how I pass the time with adult friends at Safari Sam and chucky cheeze kid birthday partys. For some reason (FAT 16 formatting of the SD card?) GQviewer cannot see my SD card photos (thumbnails of question marks, even after installing the older stable version of GQview, otherwise I am using RC10). I have no problems using GQview in slackware.
I must be missing something obvious as many list GQview as a core pdaxrom application. Please help someone with middle aged dementia (unlike my six year old who can dual boot on the laptop between windows and slackware).

possibly gqview cannot create the thumbnails because the fat16 does not work well with a ".thumbnail" directory or/and because it tries to save them in the home directory and you don't have enough space.
check in the options where the thumbnails are stored.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to try an ext2 formated card. Is anyone able to use GQview with a fat16 card. I don't get thumbnail or photos making it useless whereas many list it as a favorite application.
