Hi.
I have a SL-5500 and I want install Sylpheed and Minimo. I get this errors

I have added my machine feed (collie) to ipkg files. This version of libx11 is not on the feed. How can I install it? Can I install familiar version?

Do you have an Opie or a GPE image?
*x11* should be in feed/x11

I have a GPE image. There's a version of libx11, but it looks is not the correct version. I will try "force-dependences" option.

If I force dependences, minimo works. Sylpheed doesn't respond to the pointer.

Hi,
Did you manage to get minimo and sylpheed to work? If so, can you please detail how you did it? Are you using GPE or Opie?
And does anybody know where we can get an .ipk of the libx11-6 cvs version needed for installing these apps correctly?
I'm currently using GPE on SL-5500 (collie), and I'm finding it rather difficult to get a usable system up and running. Having the included PIM apps is OK, but what I really need is webbrowsing and email (https and imaps/smtps support preferred).
Thank you

Ignore the error - the version of x11 you have is fine, iirc the version of ipkg in your image gets confused when comparing version numbers which contain cvs.
Use -force-depends

Minimo works for me. I can't login on sites, but it looks like minimo's fault, I remember reading about this on this forum.
GPE, BTW.
