Hi,
I finally made the jump to Hentges from OZ3.5.3, and I am very impressed. The suspend works out of the box, and I am having a good time with it...For the record, I am using a Collie with the correct zImage, cardfs and initrd.bin installed. I am installing to a 512MB SD card, though I have a 1GB waiting in the wings, which I will merge my OZ /home/root directory. I kept it as a fallback in case I failed miserably on the Hentges install.
However, once I got it installed, I fired up aqpkg and began installing packages. Unfortunately, now many of the apps I installed are missing. I installed Tab Manager, so I could shuffle apps between tabs. The reason I point this out is that I installed a couple of opie-sh apps. They show up in tab manager (there is an opie-sh tab), with Lanucher Refresh and WLAN Chooser, but neither the tab or the two scripts show up on the desktop. Opie-sh-ssh-askpass didn't appear in tab manager either.
Some of the other apps I installed who's icons don't appear in any tab (and these are also not in tab manager, though aqpkg shows them installed properly) include
opie-mediaplayer2 (I never got it working under 3.5.3, mp3s were always garbled, thought I would
try it here)
kapi
kopi
keyring
xmame
There are probably others, but they are escaping me at the moment. Is it a matter of the symlinking them in to /opt/QtPalmtop/bin?
Thanks,

Did you try "Reload Icons" in settings. Also try a reboot..but I guess you've already done this.

Do you need to run ipkg-link with the hentges images?

I tried both, more than once. I also tried manually symlink /media/card/opt/QtPalmtop/bin/kapi to /opt/QtPalmtop/bin, with no luck.

Storm,
I just tried keyring and could not get it to even show an icon...tried all the tricks (linking, etc. though all looks fine) so I don't know. I used the ipk from the Opie feed so it should work.
Maybe some of these ipks are just "broken".

That is indeed a possibility, though I had Ko/PI and Ka/PI installed under 3.5.3. Coredump?

Okay, I managed to find most of the apps. Simon was absolutely correct. I ipkg-linked sd, and found most of the missing apps.
Although I had added menus and got duplicates of the ones I had moved...But that was small price to pay...
Thanks for all the help,
