Title: Ubuntu + 3100

okey dokey, I plug it in put it in hdd mode, and I get 8 icons up on my desktop, how can i get the hotplug from making more than one of these mounts?

I have the same problem and i just right click on them, and select unmount until I only have one left mounted.  Its not really a problem, I'm just glad it works.

yea but I would like to get it to mount only once, maybe its the way its scanning the usb bus?

or I could say screw it and go with the samba share route...
