Sharp Zaurus SL-C1000 like SL-C3x00 have same CPU, BUS...
Is it real to install OpenBSD on it? On CF card?
Can two USB-Lan cards work via USB-Hub?
Sorry for my poor English...
-
Aye, ditto on that.

Good Day!
i read that it has been done, but how long until some instructions are up?
Where? URL please.
Anyways, try out the instructions below, will update OpenBSD documentation
based on your test results.
Post your dmesg's here please.
Pre requisites
- Spare CF card or microdrive, at least 256MB.
- USB female B to male mini A adapter
- USB key or a supported USB network card[0]
Overview
- Install OpenBSD to the CF card.
- Fetch distribution files from the net or a USB disk
- Disklabel offset
Steps
- Print and read INSTALL.zaurus[1], re read again ;)
- Insert your CF card/disk and un mount it.
- Insert USB disk or network card. Un mount your usb disk and/or
ifconfig down your usb network device.
- Follow INSTALL.zaurus (from installating the openbsd_38_arm.ipk
to starting the installation).
- On fdisk, answer yes to the prompt "Do you want to use *all* of
wdx for OpenBSD?"
- On disklabel delete slice a, and create a new slice with 17 as
offset, create the rest of your slices.
- Follow again the INSTALL.zaurus documentation.
C3x00 Note:
- You can use this on your C3x00 series to install OpenBSD on your
CF.
- Remember to use wd1 and *not* wd0 for the disk to use.
- On OpenBSD bootloader prompt enter[2]
boot> boot hd1a:/bsd -a
and on
root device (default wd0a): wd1a
- press enter on swap device.
- The previous step is needed as linux (the one that
loads the openbsd bootloader) detects disk from the external CF
first before in internal microdrive but OpenBSD enumerates in
reverse order.

from this:
Judging from that 3rd link, this is C3000/C3100 only?

Yeah, they're saying they're working on C1000 and CXXX. But as of 3.7, it's just the C3XXX models that are supported, although I'm sure from what I saw on the arm ports mailing list that some C1000 owners are running it.

C'mon, be a pioneer. Where's that zaurus hackerdom?
-
I'm willing to try this, but until it can be installed on an SD card I'm out.
