Title: Mplayer / Kino2 Only Quarter Size Video
Post by: daniel3000 on August 31, 2005, 12:43:31 pm
Excuse me if this is an old issue:

Is there any way around the problem with Kino2 and mplayer that the video image is only a quarter of the screen (centered)?

I have installed the following packages:

-- mplayer-bvdd v1.1.5-1
-- kino2 0.4.2
-- bvdd drivers v0.4.0-1
-- libffmpeg_0.4.6_20030304_arm.ipk
-- zaurus-vlc_0.5.3_arm.ipk
-- librt_2.1.3_arm.ipk

Thanks

daniel

What resolution is the video you are playing and what playback options are you using for Kino2? (By this I mean command-line options for mplayer)

MPlayer won't have an icon, because mplayer is invoked by kino.
I.e. kino handles all the playlist stuff and controls mplayer by starting it with the correct options if you hit "play" in tje kino GUI.

If you have installed all needed packages, it should work with compatible files.

Please recheck if you have installed the correct packages for your machine.
