I\'d really like to know how to transfer files to and from a PocketPC PDA using the IrDA port. I\'m running a 5500 with OZ 3.2 (great rom, I like it much better than the sharps) and amazingly enough, turning on IrDA and IrDA discover detects the PocketPC pda, but that\'s as far as I could get it. Sharing files, or being able to ping/ssh/scp each other would be ideal, yet I have no idea how to do it.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be ideal. I am however nowhere near a linux newbie so no need to simplify things, just be straight. Thanks!

I don\'t have an answer for you but the version of PPC may be relavent, PPC2000 didn\'t handle standard (palm) OBEX protocol it was a hacked thing call IrSquirt. I beliebe ppc2002 and later support proper OBEX but I don\'t have a 2002 or later device to try it with. Certainly out of the box the ppc2000 OS can\'t talk to a Z (or a palm) properly without extra software.

I do believe it was a PocketPC 2003 device (isn\'t mine, trying to transfer files to and from my zaurus to my friends pda), it was a new Asus MyPal. I\'ll look into OBEX as you mentioned, to see what I can dig up. Thanks for the help.
