Yesterday I was testing the new opie images, everything was ok until I pressed the opie poweroff button.
After that all I get when trying to boot is a infinite loop while scanning the flash.
Any hints on how to get the simpad back to work?

Try to reflash?

I can't get to the boot> prompt.
My minicom settings are ok, the simpad doesn't answer to any keypress.
I will try to open the simpad and disconnect the battery.

Tonight I finally had some free time so I opened the Simpad, diconnected the battery, shorted the battery connector pins (as in https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13497) (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13497)) but still the same output:

Is this a hardware problem? A JTAG solvable problem?
