Title: Rc11 On C3000?
Post by: Mongus on September 15, 2005, 04:15:00 pm
I've really been itching to try RC11 on my C3000 but the fear of bricking it makes me a bit nervous.

Is the C3000 close enough to the C3100 that it should work or does the build require the extra flash in the C3100?

I'm guessing I need to change hda3 to ext3 before the install. Is this correct?

Thanks!

the manipulation to install pdaxrom on a C3000 hasn't changed since the new RC, so you have to tweak your system, no clean install for this machine at the moment (yes the install need the extra flash in the C3100)

I would not bother with PdaXrom on the C3000 since it is oviously not supported. Use Open BSD.
