Title: Any Use Buying Highspeed Sd/mmc Card For C7xx ?
Post by: kraveel on September 25, 2005, 12:35:29 pm
hi there,

i´m planning to get myself a new sd or mmc card and was just wondering if there´s any
advantage buying one of these "highspeed" cards (some 16mb/s in contrast to 6mb/s with older ones...).

- can the controller on the c760 handle these speeds ?

- how fast is the internal flash memory ?

- is the any advantage of sd over mmc, despite the speed (i mean on zaurus with linux, forget about that drm stuff...) ?

thanks a lot for your alltime-sophisticated answers !

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this as I'm not really sure. But I did want to warn you not to get a 2GB card (I was about to) as it seems currently the 2GB cards don't work with the Z's due to some sort of software problem (timing or some such).
