Title: Henges 3.5.3 On C1000--that On-switch Blinky Thang
Post by: vputz on September 26, 2005, 02:23:30 pm
Loving the Hentges 3.5.3, but I remember seeing something in the post about the "on" switch being mapped to some test code.  Sure enough, if I am foolish enough to depress the "on" switch while OZ is booted up, I get the text console, blank screen, blinky cursor in the top left corner.

The thread mentioned that it was possible to ssh in and fix it, but that's not really an option if you're away from a network connection and a friendly terminal--the only solution I could find was a reboot, but being a fumblefinger type, I've had to do a LOT of rebooting in the last couple months.

Was this fixed in a later release, or is there something I can do to prevent it?

Thanks--sorry to complain when it's been so useful (well, I still can't get Snes9x to work and can't find a working NetHack, but one can't have everything--heh) but it'd be really nice not to have to reboot so often.

That's what I needed; thanks.  Must not have been using the right combination of search terms.
