Title: Glx Problem In Debian
Post by: Zer0xXx on September 29, 2005, 10:41:26 am
When I run Debian, I cannot run any 3D programs (such as glxgears or bzflag). I know this is possible under pdaXrom, so I figure I'm just missing a package or I have a configuration problem.

Here is the error message if I try running glxgears:

Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display "0:0.0".
glxgears: Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual.

you need to add load "glx" to your XFree86 configuration file.
glx(on zaurus) is software based and is very slow coz it lacks optimazion!
question:when we will have Xorg on Zaurus?
