Fantasizing about using my C1000 as a tiny laptop for word processing with external USB keyboard and mouse, I downloaded the trial version of TextMaker to see if it's worth paying for. I don't like Hancom Word much.
Got an error message when installing via Add/Remove Software ("ipkg said something went wrong") but app works nonetheless.
However, the menus don't work properly at all with the mouse (see screenshot below). Works fine with the stylus.

Anyone have any ideas about making this work?
Thanks in advance...

You might try turning on the "small icons" which will also make your menus smaller. That might improve things. I don't have this problem, although TextMaker's menus are a little weird sometimes.

Thanks for the tip -- I tried setting icons to small but the only effect was to make the whole program display tiny tiny tiny. Menu situation was still problematic with the mouse.

Interesting -- do you use a mouse and the mouse hack thingy? I downloaded it from Meanie's site, I think.

Yes it is tiny. But at least you can see the whole menu on the screen at once. My other suggestion would be to try turning off the "ruler" at the top of the screen.

i changed my icons in extras->prefferences and under look and feel.
