I have installed Kammu from the oz feed. I was expecting some sort of gui interface but although it installed ok and I refreshed the icons, I still see nothing.
I am missing something? There doesnt appear to be much in the forum about kammu - anyone know how I can get this started??

kammu is a fork of Gammu (without any info about what was changed) as it is shell only tool
IIRC some parts of kdepim/pi use it for synchronization with mobile phones

Thanks. I'll have a look at kdepim/pi. In the meantime I have installed gnokii and smsgui (a simple frontend to gnokii) which works with the sharp compatibility libraries.
I have this working nicely with Bluetooth and a Motorola V3 mobile phone.
I have difficulty copying and pasting tel numbers from my address book either using the copy paste icon or "copy" "paste" from the z keyboard.I can "select" the number ok using my stylus, but copy paste doesnt work.
I have to "edit" the contact before I can copy and paste the number to the smsgui.
Any suggestions how I improve upon this??

give address to smsgui so I can look on it and add it to OZ

I cant seem to find smsgui on the web anymore. I downloaded the ipk a few years ago from the zaurus software index - "sendsms-0_1.ipk"
I'll upload it onto a web page later and post the url.
ok all done you can download zmsgui at
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/smiker.s/zaurus/ (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/smiker.s/zaurus/)
For gnokii I used: which should still be available ok
gnokii-0.5.2_arm.ipk
Everything works fine. It would be really good if someone could just put a lookup to the address book for the phone number and this little app would work great!

I need source not binary package.
