I have a Zaurus SL-C860. I will be getting a Zaurus SL-C3100.
On the C860 I rely on using KO/PI, KA/PI, and SafeDee.
Could someone tell me the names and directories of files I will need to transfer from the C860, and the directories in which I will have to place them on the C3100, in order to have my:
- KO/PI calender entries, ToDo list, and catagories
- KA/PI entries, and catagories
- SafeDee entries
I am new to Linux, and I do not know what the file naming conventions or directoriues mean.

I Have a similar Problem So I thought I would Ask Here Also :-
I Have a few questions about kopi kapi and where its Data Files are Located ??
I Had (;=() a Z3000 with Ver 3.01Jp I then Upgraded it to Ver 3.11
and installed Kopi/Kapi 2.24
I now have a 3100 and have Installed The GREAT Caco Rom and KOPI / KAPI 2.27
I have installed the dtm module also
But How to get the KOPI/KAPI to see my addresses / phone no's
What files do I copy Over ??? where do i put them
(I cannot use Zaurus Restore as it will Overwrite Everything )
I found a DTM Directory But the there are files of the same names in Uppercase & Lowercase ??
Thanks For Any Info

SafeDee - there is only one file you have to copy:
/home/zaurus/Applications/SafeDee/SafeDee.dat
Not sure about your other questions but I'm sure someone will answer that quickly as those are quite popular apps.

- KO/A-PI & PWMPI store *everything* under the /home/zaurus/kdepim directory. Just copy that whole thing and you have it all ... lock, stock, and barrel.
- To get your Sharp data, install the DTM Sync ipk, and just touch of a "sync with dtm". It'll pull everything out of the Sharp DTM store and stick it into KO/A-PI. Very slick. If you have a need for it, you may continue to sync to DTM so, say, the IntelliSync thingy will continue to work. I have no need for that, so I just deleted the DTM directory. Nothing I have uses it, anyway. (shrug)
- Hope this helps...
