Hey all. I've searched high & low, in the forums, on pi-sync's site (http://pi-sync.net/html/om_pi.html), on google, etc & I can't find it. Where can I download an ipk for OM/PI (pi-sync's mail app)?

Hello grog
For the current stable version download the file kdepim_2.2.0_for_OZ_gcc3xx.ipk.zip from the KDE-Pim/Pi project page at SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=104103&package_id=112604) (as you had read at pi-sync.net (http://pi-sync.net/html/download.html)).
Decompress the file, have a look in to the ReleaseNotes.txt and install the following files:
kmicrokdelibs_OZ-gcc3xx_2.2.0_arm.ipk
kopiemail_OZ-gcc3xx_2.2.0_arm.ipk
And have fun!

Is that the reason it's not in the feed, is that it doesn't build properly? Is that why the latest version isn't available in an OZ build?

OZ 3.5.3 contain version which was available when it was released. For requesting upgrades we have another thread called "3.5.3 upgrades".
And why it is not? search for all those threads where I was writing why I don't package it.
PS. I would be happy if some user/developer will take over kdepimpi maintaince in OE.

I wasn't after an upgrade, just an additional package.

I assume this (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7685&hl=kde) (for example) has something to do with it?
FWIW I *did* search for other posts before posting again. It's just that 'ompi' or 'om/pi' didn't come up with much (well 'ompi' comes up with a *lot* of compile messages, which just make it frustrating). That's why I made sure of putting both strings in the topic of my post, to make it easier to find.

'fraid time is lacking for me right now (5 month old baby to care for in the evenings). But some day I'll take up the challenge
