Hi there,
After a few days with RC10, I recently upgraded to RC11 on my SL C860. All looks very nice etc, but what drives me crazy is the strange behaviour of the tabkey. It works as expected, for example in tab completion, but it also at the same time toggles capslock, so that the next letters typed come in UPPERCASE.
I poked around and try to fix this in the /etc/X11/kb/corgi.xmodmap file, but that does not seem to have the desired effect. I wonder if there is another keymap file somewhere, or where this is set.
Any help appreciated,
Chris

I don't think it's connected with the xmodmap files. I'm using a selfmade xmodmap file since RC5 and I haven't changed it, but I noticed the TAB key problem two times now.
I wasn't able to pinpoint how it starts and how to get rid of it (except reboot, that seems to work), or how to trigger the effect (because it usually works okay, only goes bad later).
So if you have any more information about the bug, share it.

Hmm, just to make sure, I checked again. On the console, before I start X, everything is as expected. After starting X, in any terminal or other application, the <tab> key toggles also capslock on and off. I first thought it was a feature, but to me this is very annoying.
Greetings,
Chris
