Title: Humble Ipkg Requests - Akgregator And Kate
Post by: stac on October 12, 2005, 02:58:57 pm
Howdy folks -

Two of my favorite desktop apps would love to find a home on pdaXrom - is anyone able or willing to undertake the cross-compilation? I wish that there was a how-to about how I could accomplish this myself... but I've found none, so I figured I'd ask.

Thanks,
Stac

About the requested packages :
Kate exists, don't know about Akgregator. Search the forums for "KDE".

About cross-compiling :
look on www.pdaxrom.org, in the documentation there are some explanations about "sdk installation" and "sdk tutorial".
please note that the sdk has changed. (mainly paths). After installing just take a look at the dir structure and you'll find your way.

I believe you have to un-tar from "/" instead of "/opt/"
