all my work is lost because the Zaurus decided to half the size of the file and I lost all my work. Back to backups I guess, still several customisation sections lost

Can you describe exactly what happened? I back everything up to my pc on a weekly basis or when i have something that i cont want to loose. If this is true, I would hate the day i didnt back up and my files get crunched in half.

Not sure exactly how it happened because I was doing so many things at the same time, but I think it had something to do with doing a soft reset (the reset button inside the battery compartment) and leaving my SD card inside for rebooting. The corrupted files were all on the SD card only, nothing on hdd3 or home were corrupted.
argh, this reminds me that I don't backup my SD and CF cards, only what's inside of my Z's flash and hdd3 I think my backup strategy needs some enhancing...
