Ok, trying to work somethings out here, ie I\'m trying to get off cheap Can anyone verify / other ideas?
1) I\'d like to be able to connect a cisco console cable to the Z directly (9-pin female serial).
Possibilities I see:
a) Socket Communications Serial I/O CF Card with 16550 UART, looks like it\'d work assuming I could get the right drivers but it\'s $125
Mini A USB to USB A to Serial 9-pin Male Adapter(s), cheaper but not sure the Z can swing this. ($40)
2) Wired Ethernet without the CF card.
a) Mini A USB to USB to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Adapter(s) ($60)
Now I\'m pretty much making this all up, I\'m not sure any of this is possible. It\'d just be useful if it was possible. Any ideas? BTW thinking via 5600/6000 series units.

Found a better way:
ZThinCableTM also provides the gender your looking for when you want to attach peripherals to your Zaurus. ZThinCable provides DB-9 male and DB-9 female connector options allowing you to plug directly into your modem, GPS, sensor, or other RS-232 serial device. This eliminates the need for null modem cables, gender changers and other \'plumbing\' that is required for using the Sharp CE-170TS with devices such as modems, GPS receivers, and Cisco equipment.
Altough you need to keep the keyboard closed on the 6000 series. You can open it on all the other models.
