Title: Adsl / Pppoe With Collie
Post by: nibl on October 14, 2005, 07:34:36 am
How do you connect to an ADSL account?
I am using collie opie version (OZ 3.5.3) on an SL-5500.

I don't see any pppoe tools. My network card is found and eth0 is connected, but now I need to connect to my provider.

There used to be a program caleld Zaudsl for Sharp ROM, is there an equivalent for OZ?

Many Thanks,

nibl

Been hacking around with this latley, best soulution: get the adsl-[setup|start|status|connect] scripts from the roaringpenguine (google it)

it automates the process farily well

Forgot to mention that they are shell scripts and should be in most linux distros already under /usr/sbin so you can just copy them across
