Title: Streaming Video (tv)

Is there a way to stream video feeds from my windows PC with a tv card to my zaurus?

That would be so cool to do, if anyone has write ups on how to do this, i would really appreciate it.

Yes, it's been done, using VLC on the server side and either VLC or MPlayer on the client side. Feeding 'VLC' to the forum search function should find you the appropriate post(s).

If you put your video file in a directory accessible through your web server/ you don't need vlc on the server.  You can use mplayer on the client and access the video file over http.

Which of course is not exactly a preferable solution if you intend to do live video streaming. Since the original poster mentioned a 'tv card' my guess is that this is what he had in mind. In that case going with VLC as the server is certainly a good move.
