kernel optimized for speed and video, along with fixing some annoyances(that I never noticed, so I hear)

I have a Macintosh Computer.  The tutorial I read about how to install seems rather involved.  Do I have to re-install my c1000's OS to use tetsu's special kernel?  Or can I just install it after installing cacko ?

thx,

Louis
