Hi Guys,
Well the 3100 should be coming to me soon and now it is time to look at cases. I saw bombur's krusell case, but he never responded in the forum how well it fit. Does anyone have one of these for a clamshell? Where did you purchase it? Did you get the medium case? The large is the only one with big enough dimensions. Bombur did say they stretch, but how much?

After checking the krusel website, it looks that the medium size is just a little bit too small. The large seems to be a better fit...
However I would be interested in the comments of someone who has tried one of the two cases on ...

talking to krusell.se is a bit painful. For example I mention that I think the large will fit the zaurus, but I can't find a place online to buy the 94113. After a couple of canned responses, this is the closest to a useful response
And it will probably fit but we always want to test the unit here but we
don´t have the Zayrus unit unfortunately.

Right. If you can just point me to someone who will sell it to me, then I will test it for you. It seems they just don't want the business.

Oops. Sorry for not posting a reply on this one.
Don't bother with this one. The krusell horizontic case (Large) looks like it will fit just barely. However, there isn't enough play to close the case due to the girth of the Z (3k). An extra 3 or 4 mm would do it.
Pity. It is a really nice case.

Are you talking about the LARGE case? According to Krusel, the large case should fit 100% ( and looking at the dimensions of it, it is actually a bit larger then the Z...)
However I had the same experience as bluedevils: nobody wants to sell me this case... I have emailed Krusel: they gave me a couple dealears. I have emailed all dealers: none has responded...

Yep. Large case.
I bought mine online...I will post the vendor after I have look back through my records. It has been a while!

I think I bought my case from sfplanet. The site has changed since then but it rings a bell. Won't know for sure until I check my records at home. Unfortunately I am out of town for the next couple of days.

I was just reading in another post about someone who highly recommended the Grinder Gear Basecamp case. Well padded and very rugged, with plenty of storage for accessories.
He had mentioned that it fit his 760 just fine, however I don't know how that similar that size is to the 3100.

I have a Nutshell Belt Clip case, it was perfect for the C700 but it's a little tight for the C3000 (you can force it in the case, but getting it out is tough). Perhaps if you somehow stretch the leather....
