Title: 6000: Audio Specs, Chipset?

Does anyone have the audio specs of the SL6000, and ideally details on the chipset that is used? Trying to determine the likelihood of using this device as a decent digital recorder/player...

The SL6000 uses the Wolfson WM9712 AC97 device:
