Title: Big Problem With A C860

Hello,

I just bought a C860 and I have already very very big problem :-$
I start the Z (yeah ! that's great !) and it says "10% battery left"
I shutdown the Z.
I want to re-start the Z => nothing :-/ (duhhhh)
So i plug a usb-ziplink to charge (I have not the ac adaptator) ... duuhh nothing append ... no charge led ...
I try to access to the service menu : it work !!! but the Z shutdown and now I can't charge the Z, someone has say that i must reboot the Z but ...

So ... anyone can help me ? I'm french and I have the wonderfull Z since today ... please ...

ps: it was under cacko 1.23

Let it charge for an hour or so, then try again.
At least, when the battery is totally empty, I can't boot my Z. Not even with the charger plugged in, but if I leave it charging for an hour, it boots again.

Not sure about the way you try to charge (does it have to turn on the led ?), I use the ac-adaptor.

I have read in other posts that some people have found that some USB ports on some machines won't provide enough juice to charge the Z. Some have said just switching to another port worked. Some had to switch to another PC. USB Hubs may not work either.

Try getting a 5V 1AMP regulated AC adaptor... that's the best you can do. Oh: Check polarity first, it's important.

Hi ! The Z has boot but I can't charge it ...
I have try (too) many usb port and no Charging Led ...
But in service menu I see : "Charge" => NO ... isn't wrong ? i have try to select ON but i don't know how to validate the choice
