I heard from someone that the USB mount feature in the C860 should work on the Mac. Can anyone confirm or deny? I don\'t really need to sync anything, so this would work great for me!
Thanks,
Jack

I usually simply resort to a USB cardreader on my Mac. Alot simpler! I also have been able to use the wireless card to mount OSX folders vis NFS - This requires setting up NFS exports on the Mac first.

I can\'t confirm for a Mac, but the usb storage basically turns your Z into a usb card reader.
It works for me under Linux, Win98, Win2000, WinME & WinXP so I can\'t see why Mac wouldn\'t work as it has better usb support than all the windows versions

Works fine for me- except it mounts around 10 disk images on the desktop. Apart from this it works well on mac osx Panther.
Also allows writing of large files and folders and gives the correct disk space available on the card-unlike usb connect.

Thanks for all the info... Makes me feel a lot better about the idea. Now to gather the cash...

I too found that I got a load of disks on the desktop, and they just kept coming. (Cacko Qtopia ROM)
Sometime ago I had Sambaserver working on a 5500, and that mounted perfectly through a wireless connection.
Also, on the mac side, enabling the FTP server in the OSX network preferences gets me a really nice fast access to the whole OSX filesystem via OpieFTP wirelessly.
I haven\'t tried NFS yet.

The mac usb driver is at:

use \"guest\" as the user, no password to samba-mount.

There is also a Howto here on ZUG about connecting Mac and Zaurus:

I think that Wiki page is waiting for additional material...
