Post by: gab74 on November 14, 2005, 01:11:35 pm
is there a way to play divx with mplayer under rc12 on a c-3100 at full screen by switching to 320x240 res.???

i'm wondering why there is no mplayer gui on pdaxrom.....( for qtopia kino is the best )

just add -vm no need to get into 320x240 mode.
there is not gui coz we use bvdd which takes control of the screen buffer so X11 and BVDD can`t work at same time.

it is also not working for me. -vm makes fullscreen but the image is still smaller in the middle of the screen and should be 320x240... around the image everything is black. so it doesnt zoom/strech the video.

kino2 in really better. would be nice if someone could port it over to pdaxrom. this is the only thing i am really missing from sharp/cacko rom.

If you exit from X and just
Code: [Select]
mplayer /location-of-file/file.mpgit'll fill the screen (provided it was encoded at the right size)

ok got it working. (not with the -vm -x 320 -y 240)

i got the ide from the other thread here about zoom. you just have to press fn + 2 to zoom into 320x240 mode and then it works with just -vm or -fs (both commands for fullscreen). or you can also zoom after the movie started.
