Hey there Guys,
I've moved to a new country, and I don't really have internet access that easily. I did bring my old Zaurus SL-5500 with me, in the hopes that I can use it at least for email from some wireless hotspots.
It's currently running OpenZaurus 3.5.1 (I think), and I would like to stick Sharp-Rom on it again so that i can use Opera and their email client.
I downloaded the Ospack file from their website (by writing down the URL, and then wgetting the thing over a very slow connection to the SD card, and then copying it to the CF.), but when I try to flash it to the Zaurus, I just get both the mail and power LEDs flashing, saying something is wrong...
I've tried formatting the CF card at an internet cafe with windows XP (telling it to use "FAT", not "FAT32". I redownloaded the OSpack file, and it still didn't work.
I downloaded dosfstools, and did mkfs.msdos -F 16 /dev/hda1
and it still didn't work....
I deleted the partition, added a new one, and told to to be "FAT16" partition type, reformatted it.. and it Still didn't work!
I'm starting to get really annoyed at this little machine
Can anyone give me any suggestions on what I can try to make it work again? I've already tried to run Opera on this version of OZ, but it's such a pain..
Thanks!

If you can borrow a digital camera that uses CF cards, they often have an option to format the card and it will be fat 16.
