Title: Hetges 3.5.3 - Wierd Opie Dialog On First Boot
Post by: cparker on November 15, 2005, 12:55:30 am
I just installed the Hentges 3.5.3 ROM on my Collie.  I have a 1GB SD card.  The install seemed to go well until Opie started up.  There is a dialog on the screen that is bigger than the screen.  What I can see is

A new storage media detecte
SD Card
What should I do with it?
Which media files
Audio    Text
Image   Vide
All
Limit Search To

Add    Rem

I can't dismiss the dialog.  Audio is selected, if I hit space, it will unselect it. I seem to be able to move the selection sometimes.  When I tap anywhere, it just clicks.

Thanks in Advance!
Chris

First boot should be performed with no storage cards in.

Do a reset and take the cards out.

Thanks so much.  That fixed it.  I didn't think to do that since I moved /root and it didn't prompt me to remove it.  Did I miss that somewhere in the instructions?

Thanks again
Chris

It's just the first boot as the dialog comes up before the touchscreen calibration iirc.

It was in the old release notes, not sure about the current ones.
