Post by: Prefect47 on February 10, 2004, 02:42:57 am
Does anyone know if the AirCable USB (http://www.aircable.net (http://www.aircable.net)) is sold in Europe somewhere? Preferably Sweden

How well does it work with f.x. the C860? Anyone have any experience with transfer speeds etc.?[/url]

Hi there - I dunno about Sweden but I do know about Germany. Try ordering at
www.trisoft.de
... well, perhaps you might want to babelfish the site.

I\'ve bought mine directly from from Wireless Cables Inc. US and the end price was
(at least 30%) cheaper compared to trisoft\'s offer

abednego, I can\'t find the complete aircable on trisoft... do they only sell the bluetooth adapter and not the adapter + usb connector?

Ordering directly from the manufacturers will cost $109+shipping ($5) which is ca 87 euro(*), or 800 SEK, unless it gets stuck in customs.

(*) Can\'t the board software handle the euro sign?

kris_tz, what range are you getting with the aircable+zaurus? I\'ve been reading up a bit and see figures of anything from 4 feet to 150 meters, where one was class 2 and the other class 1, obviously. Unfortunately the aircable is only class 2, meaning you\'re lucky to get a couple of meters out of it if I understand it correctly...

Hello again...
as far as I know, they sell the complete aircable at trisoft. However I don\'t know for sure since I am a happy socket (pre-G) BT-CF-user. :-)
Anyways I am sure that they\'ll answer an emailed question if you ask them nicely ;-)
