Title says it all. How can I enable the -X option on ssh on OZ/GPE? I've tried on a 5000D with OZ 3.5.3 and more recently on an Ipaq 3600 with GPE/familiar 0.82. The latter actually gave me an output "ignoring unknown flag -X". It should be possible since it works on the Sharp ROM with X/Qt.
Thanks
Felipe

Dropbear is used for ssh, perhaps it doesn't support this option.
If this is the case, install the full openssh from the feed instead of dropbear (which is installed as it's smaller),

Dropbear that is supplied with OZ 3.5.4RC does X forwarding by default.
It does not honor .ssh/authorized_keys file however.

dropbear honors authorized_keys - you have to give him identity file if use dbclient on device to connect to ssh server
it's documented on OpenZaurus.org

So which is it? Do I install openssh or upgrade to OZ 3.5.4? What about familiar, which I seem to have the latest? And does the discussion on authorized keys have anything to do with my question or are these guys just off on a tangent? Apart from the -X issue, my ssh is working fine.
Thanks,
Felipe

Up to you.
What about familiar, which I seem to have the latest?
Familiar is simply the name given to the flash images for iPAQs, it is the same as OpenZaurus (bar some hardware dependent parts).
And does the discussion on authorized keys have anything to do with my question or are these guys just off on a tangent?
I think you can ignore the authorised keys thing.

Familiar supports more machines as ipaqs, like simpads, jornadas and even zaurusses

This just adds to the confusion. Can you let everyone know what the differences are between a Familiar image for the Zaurus and an OpenZaurus image for the Zaurus as I thought they would be identical?
