i've finally got syncing working on my zaurus. i am using multisynK (not multisynC!) 0.1 on the desktop side. every thing was working fine until i tried to add an event far in the future
on the zaurus side:
OZ 3.5.3, hentges ROM. using the default calender app. time zone is set to New York on the zaurus, plus /etc/localtime is symlinked to /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York
on the desktop side:
gentoo, KDE 3.4, using korganizer. timezone is set to New York in KDE, as well as in Korganizer. plus /etc/localtime is symlinked to /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York
i added an event on the desktop in Korganizer on June 5, 2006 for 10am - 12pm. after i synced, it showed up as 9am-11am..it was shifted 1 hour earlier. when i create the event on the zaurus first then sync, it gets time shifted one hour later on the desktop
at this point, the only thing of as causing the problem is that daylight saving time is not being accounted for on either the desktop or the zaurus.

i finally came across a fix that worked
i copied the /etc/localtime on my desktop and used that one on my zaurus, instead of symlinking to one of the zone files on the zaurus, and this seems to have fixed the problem
