I have reverted to Sharp's 3.13 ROM from OZ 3.5.4.
Everything's OK and I have both LAN and WiFi up and working with my XP box.
After a crash I had to perform a reset (using the battery switch on the back).
After the reset, all the icon names are different than before like this:
Before:
Opera
Browser
-------
After:
Opera
Browser
It looks like there's an extra line break both in between icons and icon names...
It's not a problem, but it does look kinda stupid and makes each tab larger in height.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a way to solve this?
Thanks in advance

Anybody?

You can either look the "appearance" setting or edit the file opera.desktop.

I've tried everything in the "appearance" settings... I'll check out the opera.desktop file... Thanks!

Intrested in what you find, am getting ready flash (virgin SL-5500) my 2.12 ROM to something current. A little hesitant in that everything looks good, except have limited shell commands when I boot into 2.4.6 and then have to reboot to check results.
Prefer and need a good installed terminal, am contemplating installing Sharps qpe-terminal 1.5.0-2_arm unless I can find something better. However, I want to get the ROM update locked in before I proceed.
Anything you care to share would be appreciated.

<update> Shoe-horned qpe-term in. Qtopia/Cradle gave me errors when selecting upload (fromW98SE), so went O/L with the SL-5500 and D/L with Opera, then used the shell to copy from /tmp to SD and back to Application Install. Not sure why App-Install wouldn't work from /tmp, oh well, whatever works, works (guess it needed a symlink).

Just a stab in the dark, but is there a "tab settings," or something similar, in that ROM?
