Title: Inet Via Ad-hoc Wifi

I have a linux laptop, I have internet on the eth0 and a wifi card, can I hook up to my laptop via ad-hoc and access the internet? Has anyone done this?

That works. You set your laptop as default gateway and then just need to use iptables to do NAT on your laptop.
