Is there a desktop side to this? Say one for linux?I would like to be able to edit/create the xml's on desktop as well.

They don't have a desktop version but you can export a file to HTML which can be used on any device & the exported document is quite well laid out so easy to see the information & copy & paste when required.

Some mindmapping programs available for Windows use XML as well. Nut the same SML, though, but with XSLT it is probably possible to easily create converters between two formats.
BTW: this would be something I'd also be interested in! Exchanging files between Stageone and e.g. MindManager or Freemind would be great!
