Title: IR keyboard reviews related to use with the Zaurus?
Post by: bb on February 11, 2004, 06:07:00 am
Does anyone here know of any IR keyboard reviews related to their use with a Zaurus? I have found one poster here referring to a review on devnet, but that article cannot be found anymore.

fwiw, i just bought (for $25.50, on clearance - in store only, staples on east 86th street in nyc) a micro-innovations wireless kb, which is the pocketop. it works well so far on the 5600. looking for a better way to rotate the screen.

I saw ýour posting regarding the clearance sale in another forum. Unfortunately I´m not situated in NYC, and the I gather the sale is over by now
I have seen quite a lot of postings from Zaurus users who tell - like you - that the Pocketop kb works well with a Zaurus. I´m looking for postings/articles from people who have tried several models that work with the Zaurus and are able to compare things like the slanting of keys, layout, etc.
Thank you for your answer.

bb...

check out the forum named     Targus IR Keyboard for 5600?
I give a brief review of Pocketop/Micro Innovations vs. the Targus Universal. The original devnet also had posting concerning the roll-up keyboard, but I have no experience with that one. (it has a wired connection) I have used the Targus in my lap (and it is a balancing act), but the roll-up would never have a chance!
