Wifi card manufacturers are notorious for changing the innards of their products without telling anyone

kara_ci,

My WL1100C is a wi-fi card. As far as I know, you don't use wi-fi to connect to phones, and if you can, I haven't tried. You may have a bluetooth card, not a wi-fi one.

Hope this helps!

I'm using Pretec (Wifi) and Socket Rev K (Bluetooth). Both out-of-box.
