I have never gotten OZ 3.3.5 or 3.3.6-pre to work on my 860.  The problem was with installing applications (i have already posted in the past to try to solve this.)

In the topic referenced above there was mention of a \"hack\" required to get things working properly and that this \"hack\" was contained in a readme somewhere.  I have not been able to locate a readme containing anything that looks like it would help.  Does anyone know about this?  Is there a set of instructions indicating what should be done after initial installation?

Hi,
I have the same problem you asked for in many post I read. I own a 860 from dynamism.
I flashed with no problems OZ 3.3.5 from http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstabl...ble/3.3.5/C860/ (http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstable/3.3.5/C860/)
Then I downladed some apps from http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstabl....3.5/C860/ipks/ (http://www.openzaurus.org/official/unstable/3.3.5/C860/ipks/) , I putted them into CF , I edited /etc/ipkg.conf removing the \"dest // \" lin, and then I tried to install them with APKG.
Last try was Tetrix and I seemed all ok, but if I tap the icon in games tab, a small window appear, saying \"can\'t locate application tetrix\". If I try to start the application from command line, I receive the error \"cannot open main window\" or similar.
BTW, only preinstalled apllication \"oxygen\" give me same error...
Have you resolved this trouble in anyway?

What is the error when you try using ipkg from the terminal?

After \" dest //\" removal in ipkg.conf, neither AQPkg nor ipkg gave errors.
It seems that installation goes all ok, but applications don\'t run.
I installed italian language for OPIE in the same way and it was ok. A question: If I use \"System info\", it give me OPIE 1.0.2 and 750 as my machine. I own a 860. I Installed wrong flash?
