Ok, here\'s the deal...
I\'m trying to be cheap and don\'t want to buy the Dr. Z Video Player, so I\"m trying to get mplayer to work. While I\"m not too much a fan of running things from CLI that could be run from a GUI, I\'m willing to deal with it. I\'ve tried switches (e.g. -autosync, -cache 8192, -nobps) and the file I\'m trying to play (an DivX encoded AVI I downloaded off the net, which plays fine on both my laptop and my makeshift media pc) is out of sync with the audio when I play it back on the Z.
Has anyone had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

\"-framedrop\" od \"-hardframedrop\" might also probably help.

Which CPU do you have in your 5600? The PXA250 performs really poorly at video playback unless you use a kernel with the PXA250 cache bug workaround turned off.

I reencode movies to divx using parameters that I find work best to play it on the Z
