Title: Problem With Packages
Post by: javra on December 17, 2005, 02:04:21 pm
Cause this is my first post on this Board, I'll have to introduce myself: Some people will know me already from the German "linuxontour"-Forum. I've got a Zaurus SL 5500G and some problems: Always when I want to install a package (for example let's simply say "oz-compat"), I get error messages like this:
Code: [Select]
root@collie:~# ipkg install -d sd -no-depends /mnt/card/oz-c*
Installing oz-compat (0.5) to sd...
Nothing to be done
An error ocurred, return value: 1.
Collected errors:
ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for oz-compat:
         opie-sh

Isn't ipkg able to catch the package from the feed?? I can manually install "opie-sh" with "apt-get install -d sd opie-sh", but y doesn't it work automatically??
But when I want to install "opie-sh" I get this:
Code: [Select]
Collected errors:
ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for opie-sh:
         libqpe1 (>= 1.2.0) libqte2 (>= 2.3.10)

Where can I find the newest versions of these libs? The openzaurus mirror seems to be totally old!?

What image version are you running?

Si

P.S. Try -force-depends
