Hi, all,
Just want to ask a downright crazy dummy question that I've always been afraid to ask:
While some apps are QT-based and some GTK-based, is it actually possible to change one set of libs to another, say, QT to GTK, or GTK to QT, without actual (re)coding? (I'm no programmer so it'd be my mission impossible )
I ask this because I am just thinking (daydreaming) of making some QT apps become GTK apps, so that many powerful input method, e.g. XIM, SCIM and GCIN, etc, can be used in these programs. QT apps are nice, but the seemingly lack of good enough international input methods (for pdaX) and the current state in which more apps under pdaX are GTK stuff than QT just keep me dreaming this way.
Please spare my ignorance but someone still gotta ask stupid questions from time to time anyway.
If that is possible, your solutions will be my gospels.
If that is impossible, I'd better live with and be happy with what's currently available for now.
Thank you all!

It is not possible.

Thanks for clear answer. That's what i expected to hear.
Perhaps the most feasible solution is to compile scim-qtimm, gcin etc for pdaX. Sounds a big project. Anyone wanna try/have already done so?

Wow. I didn't follow that far in that thread (didn't notice the inputmethod stuff in the beginning). I'll go post there. Thanks for your pointer!
