hi all,
just came accross this battery pack while at a german zaurus website. While a little big, it might be a great back up for heavy users. Its about the same price as the EA-BL-08 battery.
review and some specs here...

You can get that cheaper by building it yourself:
- 4 x 1.2 V rechargeable batteries (AA, Baby or Mono, depending on which capacity/weight ratio you prefer)
- A case to hold the batteries
- a plug for 9V batteries (to be attached to the battery case)
- some cable
- a plug that goes into your Z.
Beware! Never replace the rechargeable batteries with 1.5 V batteries, as this would blow your Z (6 V vs the 5 you need).
Good luck

Here\'s another option http://www.thomas-distributing.com/dp-dps-8100.htm (http://www.thomas-distributing.com/dp-dps-8100.htm)

But this won\'t give you constant near 5V voltage. Would this cause adverse effect to the Z battery?

I haven\'t tried it yet, but I have a similar thing for my mobile and it basically charges the Z-battery
