Does TuxCardz work under the stock Sharp Rom 1.11 JP? I've been having problems initializing the program.

that is what i run it in.  most likely, you did not extract the file into the proper directory.  Its not an installer.

Qt331_emb_free_lib_compiled_for_zaurus.tar.gz -extract the file and copy libqte-mt.so.3 to bin in internal or sd....sd needs a symlink from internal.

also install this

zlib_1.2.3-1_arm.ipk
sudo_0.1_arm.ipk

Installed Tuxcards to internal memory;  copied libqte-mt.so.3 to bin. In Tuxcards cut and paste doesn't work in it at all;  there is no sidebar:  and the button to change the font in the editor doesn't work.

Also, when I try to install snotes, it says  it depends on other packages which need to be installed and when I try to run it from the console, it says it can't find libqte-mt.so.3 although I have placed it in bin and lib.  Any help with this would be appreciated too.  So I can't get snotes to run at all...no icon appears either.

Got it from info in this thread (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=15730&hl=tuxcards) . Have since found out that it was compiled just for pdaXrom so that's why it doesn't work...however on
this page (http://freshmeat.net/projects/snotes/?branch_id=61318&release_id=210757) , it says it is compiled for the Zaurus but doesn't really say it's just for pdaXrom.

You understand you are dealing with a pretty clueless person here who does not "compile" or understanding how these versions differ.  I assume the installation routine throws the files into different folders in one rom than another but I don't know.
