I've taken a quick look at the changes from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3.2
What is there that could improve xfce on the Z ?
The main thing I see is the improvement of the autohide feature for the panel (some people use it, I don't since I really like the full-screen feature - mapped to "alt-f" in my case).
Any benefits I've missed ? (try to convince me to do it )
Have fun,

To Chero,
Could You please explain, how do You map "Hide panel"/"Show panel"-function to a keys. If the panel is "auto-hide" and not visible it is not very handy to show it with a stylus.
It was a reason, why I stopped testing of xfce on my Z and installed Icewm.
The post impotant points are for me:
-show/hide the panel as shortcut or simple single-click
-show desktop/"minimize all windows" as shortcut or simple single-click
-restore all windows as shortcut as shortcut or simple single-click
I realy like xfce, but the points above are critical for the daily work, IMHO.
Any ideas to solve this are very appricated.
Thanks in advance
Best regards

I don't know about hiding the panel, I never use it. I use "full-screen" (= without titles, borders or panels) mapped to alt-f. I think hidden panels that react on mouse-moves aren't practical on a touch-screen. My alt-f solution does the same thing : create more space on the screen. (in fact it is even better since it hides window borders and titles as well.
I've read that some people have better results with hiding the panel if they place the panel on top of the screen.
About show desktop / restore desktop : there is a panel plugin (named "showdesktop") that does this in one single click.
Have fun,
Chero.

Hmm, there aren't many changes just bug fixes, changelog says it fixes a memory leak, and a few other bugs [a href=\"http://www.xfce.org/release_notes/4.2.3.1_changelog.html]http://www.xfce.org/release_notes/4.2.3.1_changelog.html[/url]
