i have cacko 1.23 installed on my 3100 and would really like to get gps working with either qpegps or mobile map but both programs when i run them run in portrait mode for some reason and all the windows/fonts get really big making it unusable. When i close the program the screen turns back to normal. Also, the japanese fonts don't display right for mobilemap even though they do fine for everything else. Any else have the same problem?

ok, i've temporarily solved the problem by running the programs from the command line. for some reason they work fine then. however when i switch out and switch back to the program it trys to load sideways really big again and hangs..=P
Any ideas are welcome!

Have you tried the usual (and frequently posted) fix?:
1. hold down the stylus on the program icon until the "Details" window pops up
2. remove the check from "Display with magnified screen"
As for the Japanese font issue with mobilemap, I don't know; however, mobilemap will not be of much use to you unless you live in Japan.

That worked perfect. i wonder why that got checked...
I solved the japanese font problem by changing the locale.
