Can any help me with this? I have one CF-VGA card here... but need more info...
The model is a Voyager from Colorgraphic.

I have researched this. I have not seen a single report of someone successfully using that card. AFAIK, it needs someone to write a new driver.

I found this info about Voyager CF-VGA:
At http://wearables.blu.org/wear-hard-01/2001783.html (http://wearables.blu.org/wear-hard-01/2001783.html)
Here's the feedback I was able to get from Colorgraphic about the
Voyager:
The current Voyager contains a standard VGA controller, the
Cirrus Logic GD5422. Any code already available for Linux for
the GD5422 should be portable.
There is no attribute memory as there was never anything
written into the PCMCIA standard for a VGA device.
The device operates as a standard VGA device - init sequences
are no different than a ISA 5422 video adapter.
I have found more info, I think this works in Zaurus with pdaXrom!

Any ideia?

I just purchased one in a strong belief that it could work after a bit of coding. This note above is valid for PCMCIA version, not for CF.
I have already ported Xipaq driver to the latest Angstrom snapshot. You can ignore the message "Found Voyager VGA card", it means nothing. Voyager VGA is simpy anonymous undetectable card (no CIS attribute memory), and the driver blindly assumes Voyager VGA whenever HP VGA detection fails. I even don't know the correct power voltage.
I just dismantled it. It contains confidential chip (with label removed by the solvent), which can be anything but Cirrus Logic GD5422 - as far as I know, it had never any version with integrated memory and I see no RAM chip.
I plan to port SuperProbe for CF slot. If it does not detect the chip, I'll probably give it up.
Here is a high-res photo of the internals: Internals of Colorgraphic Voyager CF VGA (http://www.penguin.cz/~utx/zaurus/colorgraphic_voyager_cf_vga.jpg)

Please keep us up to date on this. Reasonable VGA output is the only thing holding me back from buying the Z. I don't need video rates (although that'd be great), but mirroring the screen, as opposed to having to use presentation software, would be WONDERFUL.

You might try Pretec Compact Presenter. At least Cacko repositories contain a driver for it. Or get an used Iodata CFXGA (out of production, hard to get) with an official Zaurus support.

I just found and fixed faulty soldered joint in my card. It invalidates all my previous tests - my card was dead.
Additionally I just found another thread, which implies, that Colorgraphic Voyager CF VGA might be very similar to Iodata CFXGA, which has both official (mirroring) and unofficial (X server) drivers.
Can anybody with this card and Sharp ROM verify, that this card works with driversfrom Iodata?
