SkyEye is an Open Source Software Project (GPL Licence). Origin from GDB/Armulator, The goal of SkyEye is to provide an integrated simulation environment in Linux and Windows. SkyEye environment simulates typical Embedded Computer Systems (Now it supports Atmel AT91 board based on core range from ARM7TDMI processor to High-end ARM920T processor, boards based on ARM720T CPU, boards based on StrongARM (SA1100/SA1110). Could this be somehow worked into some form of Zaurus emulation?

virtera.com has a simulator than can do a full SL-5500.  It's proprietary, but you can register and download a free version.

Also softgun, armulator, and several others for ARM emulator.  I don't know which ones are best.  Softgun supposedly can boot Linux, so that's a start.
